Weekend Reading January 12

The last three days I have been completely immersed in the book “Divergent”. I have had this book on my reading list for awhile now and I finally got around to reading it.

Loved it!

I am so glad I don’t have to wait for “Insurgent” to come out. It has been awhile since I have read a book so quickly. There were many nights where I stayed up until the early morning because I couldn’t put it down. I would tell myself this was the last chapter for the night and something would happen and I had to read on. I am a sucker for the dystopian novels.

This week I picked books that will either get you sewing or get you crafting with your kids. All of these books are jammed packed with amazing ideas. I actually have “Improv Sewing” and will be working on a few projects from that book this weekend. “Sew What You Love” has a few can’t miss handbags to duplicate. I am a big fan of “Stash Happy” because you can utilize all of your scrap fabric and create something pretty.
